Welcome to the Durham Student Film website! Here you can find details of our up-coming meetings and events as well as examples of past society films and competitions. The DSF is Durham University’s film-making society, our projects range from action-comedy, special effects extravaganzas such as the recent Assassinator 2, to making music videos and filming fashion shows. We’ve premiered films at the Gala Cinema and have worked with theatre groups to interweave video into live performances.
The society is geared towards helping individual projects with our equipment and expertise, so if you have a film project ready to go or something you need help developing – come along to one of our meetings or get in touch.
