New Year, Exec, Website and other exciting things

Hi,
Welcome to the brand new Durham Student Film website!
Whether you’re an experienced film maker or just someone who thinks the idea of making a film would be pretty awesome, you will be able to find a place within our society. We are always on the lookout for new members (both freshers and non-freshers) to join our society and get involved in all aspects of film making.
On this new website, you’ll be able to find details about upcoming meetings, ways of getting involved as well as having a look at some of our work from previous years. With the start of a new academic year comes a new Executive committee who help to keep the cogs of the society turning:
President – Matthew Evenson
Vice President – Steve Hancock
Secretary – Fay Rajpar
Treasurer – Jonathan Gledhill
Commercial Officer – Ed Turner
Events Officer – Chloe Williams
So if you think film making might be your sort of thing, come along to our 1st meeting of the year on Saturday 9th October (Time and Location TBC). Here, you will get a chance to use some of the equipment as well as getting to meet like minded people.
In the coming few weeks, we will be starting production on our latest project and will be looking for members to get involved in directing, acting and editing amongst many other things.
