Durham Student Film is the premier Student Film choice for event filming in the city. Our crews can record your event and we offer a wide range of packages at low prices compared to outsourced film companies. We can see your production through from beginning to end, and offer a wide range of packages including the creation and distribution of a high end DVD final product.
Our ties are especially strong with the performing arts sphere in Durham, and past collaborations have included the filming of various plays, including “The Last Prophet”, “A Winter’s Tale” and St. Cuthbert’s Society’s ”Murder Mystery” as well as various events, such as the DU Charity Fashion Show, the Hatfield Winter Ball, several years of the INSTEP Dance Performance Show and various aspects of the Durham Student Experience Showcase.
Durham Student Film offered full coverage of the Durham Drama Festival 2011, filming all the productions, producing DVDs and overseeing the technical aspects of the professional awards show, with clip footage and live feeds.
We’ve also worked with theatre groups to create short film sequences to intersperse with live productions (“East”, “Singing in The Rain”) with the Collingwood Woodplayers to produce a trailer for their production of “Night of the Living Dead”
